Markus Kaiser graduated from the University of Cambridge (LL.M.) in 2005 and from the University of St. Gallen (lic. iur.) in 2001. He was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2003.
Before joining TIMES Attorneys as a founding partner, Markus Kaiser worked in the IP/IT practice groups of two leading law firms in Switzerland and as inhouse counsel with the Swiss copyright collecting society for producers, broadcasters and performing artists.
Markus Kaiser’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property, including IP related litigation. He advises clients in trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade secret and media law matters. He has extensive experience in licensing and technology transfers as well as in IP aspects of M&A transactions.
Markus Kaiser lectures licensing law and IP in international private law in the LL.M. programme of the University of Zurich and social media law at the University of Applied Sciences of Zurich (HWZ). He is recommended in professional publications such as Chambers Europe, WTR 1000, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal Thought Leaders.
Markus is a member of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Association and of INGRES, AIPPI, INTA and LES.
