Stephan Netzle has become the new President of the Swiss ComCom

At its session of 9 December 2016, the Swiss Federal Council has elected our partner Stephan Netzle as new president of the Federal Communication Commission (ComCom). He follows the outgoing president Marc Furrer as of 1 January 2017. The ComCom is the independent regulator for telecommunication in Switzerland. It consists of seven members elected by the Swiss government. It does however not receive instructions from the government or the department of communication (www.comcom.admin.ch). Stephan Netzle has been a member of the ComCom since 2008. He will continue to practice as an attorney at law in our firm.
