At its session of 9 December 2016, the Swiss Federal Council has elected our partner Stephan Netzle as new president of the Federal Communication Commission (ComCom). He follows the outgoing president Marc Furrer as of 1 January 2017. The ComCom is the independent regulator for telecommunication in Switzerland. It consists of seven members elected by the Swiss government. It does however not receive instructions from the government or the department of communication (www.comcom.admin.ch). Stephan Netzle has been a member of the ComCom since 2008. He will continue to practice as an attorney at law in our firm.

Although only founded in March 2015, TIMES Attorneys was nominated as one of the top Swiss leading firms for trademark related matters in the newly published WTR 1000 ranking. It is to be pointed out that TIMES Attorneys was awarded Bronze Status in both categories, i.e. trademark enforcement and litigation as well as for trademark prosecution and strategy.
